Lufthansa’s new A380’s Take’s First Class To A Whole New Level

For a few of the lucky ones reading that have enjoyed the luxury of flying first class/business know that it’s pretty sweet, especially when traveling for more than 3 hours. However, German airline, Lufthansa, plans on kicking it up to a whole new level. Their latest Airbus A380 jet will have the world’s quietest first class cabin, an extremely lavish bathroom with separate wash, changing and toilets.

The seats are capable of being fully extended to create a bed and all first class passengers get a lockable closet. Pretty pimp. The only pitfall here is that on a Boeing 747, first class has a totally separate floor.

The airline will use their first A380 from Frankfurt – Tokyo starting on June 11 after taking the German soccer team to South Africa. Once they get an additional few, they’ll be used between Beijing to Johannesburg.

Frequent The Gym? You Need A Quirky Fit Kit

If you’re a geek that gets high off lactic acid, a Fit Kit might suit the bill. It’s a case that’ll wrap around your arm and will hold your phone, cash, credit cards, keys and headphones! I for one hate carrying crap in my pockets when I’m at the gym. As of right now there is a limited production run of 875 and about 10% of them are already gone.

If you want one, pick it up for $25 here

RIP Nokia Flagship Store in NYC

So it turns out the Nokia Store in manhattan was just for show after all. There has never been ONE time where I’ve ever seen anyone buy something from that store. It was a beautiful store, but who on earth would be crazy enough to pay retail prices when it was so easy to save a hundred bucks or two by hopping on the internet?

The store on 57th between 5th and Madison Avenue has permanently closed their doors as of May 24, 2010. Sad day, but I don’t see anyone crying. So when is that new iPhone coming out again? LOL.

Future Automotive Mall Will Have A Rooftop Race Track

So you’re thinking about purchasing a new car. The typical thing to do in is to search through websites such as edmunds.com and carsdirect.com for information on pricing and the different available options available. Then you’d probably set aside a few days to visit car dealerships, arrange for test drives, figure out financing terms, etc. All in all, it’ll end up taking a few weeks of your time.

How about adding the simplicity of a mall? At a shopping mall, you can very easily buy a designer bag, cough syrup and a birthday card all under one roof. This is the vision that Autopia Europia has.  The 708,661 square-foot Autopia Europia in Istanbul, Turkey is currently under construction, but they’re planning on housing 200 individual showrooms, 48 service stations, 42 insurance companies and 24 banks under one roof! SWEEEET.

AT&T To Soon Lose iPhone Exclusivity? Raises ETF’s from $175 to $325

Seems like AT&T is planning on raising the early termination fee on all their smartphones to $325 on June 1st. That’s $150 bucks higher than what it used to be! To make things “OK”, this amount will go down by $10 for every month that goes by. In addition to this, the ETF’s for standard phones will be reduced to $150 (25 dollar savings).

Most claim that this whopping increase may have something to do with AT&T losing exclusivity of their precious gem, the iPhone.

You’re Optical Drive/ Cup Holder Can Now Double As An iPod Dock!

I’m sure you’re all familiar with the once popular “free cup holder” link that everyone was sending around. If you’re not familiar with it, what would happen is you click on a “get a free cup holder” link and it would pop your optical drive. Clever huh?

Someone noticed that their DVD drive wasn’t getting much attention anymore so he decided to take matters in his own hands and turn it in to something useful. A few hours later, you have a pretty nifty iPod Dock

White iPhone HD Spotting!

Apple.pro has released a photo of a white iPhone HD. What does this mean exactly? Another poor employee over at Foxconn is probably going to jump off a bridge. You’ll notice that there is a front facing camera and there seems to be a gap where the “white” meets the “silver”. I’m assuming the device is not fully assembled yet.

Those Calorie Counters Are Not Accurate…Ass Clowns

I’ve run in to plenty of people over the past year or so that swear they “work out” but their “bag o donuts” appearance doesn’t change. Here is the reason why…they eat like crap(or don’t eat at all) and then go to the gym and run on the treadmill till it says that they’ve burned 800 calories.  Great job tough guy(or girl). You’ve accomplished absolutely nothing :) .

For one thing, those calorie counters are TOTALLY inaccurate. Are you “running” while you’re reading something? Are you gripping the hand rails? Sipping Gatorade? Talking on the phone? Guess what… all those things significantly alter the reading. Matter a fact, if you are doing a “hopping” motion while you’re running where your foot to treadmill belt contact is very minimal, you can shave off a few more calories.

Here are a few tips from men’s fitness:

HOW TO MAKE CARDIO MORE EFFECTIVE
1.) Pick the Right Machine
Ellipticals with levers that you push back and forth with your arms offer a better workout, since integrating your upper body will activate more muscles.

2.) Don’t Hold On
If you grip the frame of your machine, you’re making it easier. Use the arm levers or move your arms in a natural running motion. 3.) Forget the Numbers
stay focused on how you’re burning the calories. “Don’t expect the activity to do the work,” says Stankowski. Throw a towel over the display and just concentrate on pushing yourself hard.

3.) Forget the Numbers
stay focused on how you’re burning the calories. “Don’t expect the activity to do the work,” says Stankowski. Throw a towel over the display and just concentrate on pushing yourself hard.

4.) Pay Attention
“Listen to your own body and monitor your own effort,” says Rodriguez. “Soon you’ll be able to rate the quality of the workout by how your body feels when you finish.”

Ok make believe meat heads…. quit screwing around and get to it. No one wants to hear excuses, we are ONLY interested in results. Keep the “I’m so important at work, I’m so tired, I don’t have any time” stories for the camp fire. Oh…don’t let me catch you with a pedometer unless you’ve got some type of ailment.

Stereotype Alert! Chinese Bootleg Another Car…This Time It’s A Porsche

I have to say… The folks over at Chinese Car Manufacturer, Hutai, did a spectacular job at taking a Porsche Cayenne and making it their own. They essentially took the body and added a Bentley Grille. Then they took a lousy 1.8 Liter 4 cylinder engine and paired it up with a front wheel drive setup. LoL. Yes….this car actually made it to production.

Pay $10/ Month for Hulu Plus, Get Rid of Cable Bill

If you’re tired of paying over 130 bucks a month JUST for your cable/dish bill…here is something to consider. Hulu Plus subscriptions will be starting May 24th. What will it give you exactly? Not too sure, but I’m pretty sure that you’ll get a little more than just the 5 most recent episodes of your favorite shows. Possibly fewer commercials as well?

For the cheapskates out there, don’t worry, the “free” version of Hulu isn’t going anywhere….yet. Now if only we could add live streaming of major gaming events and possibly some international programming, I’d be ready to hand over the credit card.

Apple Wants Their “Missing” iPhone 4G Back

For those of you that thought the mysterious iPhone 4G “leak” was just a publicity stunt… thank again. According to the well respected New York Times, Steve Jobs is trying really hard to cover up the tracks. The phone was found in a beer garden in California(of course!) which was left behind by an Apple Software Engineer. Someone picked the phone up and sold it to Gizmodo for $5000. Last night, Gizmodo got a letter from a Senior Apple VP requesting them to return the phone. Seems like Gizmodo is going to do the right deed. Oh well…. joke is still on you Apple. The cat’s out of the bag.

2011 BMW M5 Strip Tease… Wearing Nothing But Socks N Panties Now

The oh so highly anticipated 2011 BMW M5 is not ready for the streets yet, but it has been spotted with a bit more of a scantily clad disguise(unlike the original where you couldn’t tell if it was a Hyundai or a Land Rover). The vehicle is rumored to have a 578HP twin turbo V8. As you can see in the picture above… it looks like it’s going to be a sleeping monster…which we all love :) .
