Porsche Turns Gear Heads To Tree Huggers With The 918 Spyder

Porsche lifted the tarp on the 918 Spyder concept today which is not only a bunch of sexy curves, it’ll make any techie orgasm.  The car features a mid engine, two seats and all wheel drive. Going a bit out of their normal turf, they’ve opted to toss in a high revving 500HP V8 with one electric motor up front and one in the rear to add an additional 218 ponies.

Yes I said electric motors…….yes that makes this car a hybrid. The insane motor was mated with a 7 speed dual clutch tranny to the rear wheels. The front wheels have a separate fixed ratio tranny. Expect this monster to hi naut to 60 in 3.2 seconds and will get 78MPG. Where do I sign up????!

Intel Atom N455 and N475 Have A Silhouette Entrance

Intel has quietly announced the new Atom N455 and N475 processors at CeBIT earlier today. The two chips are nothing radical, they’re merely the 1.66Ghz N450 and the 1.83Ghz N470 with DDR3 memory support. Expect a few new netbooks sporting the processors sometime in the third quarter of 2010.

Playstation Global Outage – Possibly Due to 2010 Being A Mislabeled Leap Year

If you’re PS3 owner, you probably weren’t too happy today.  Sony’s poor programming made 2010 a leap year and has caused blocked access to the PS network, trophy data got corrupted and certain games and videos can’t be launched.

Sony’s “fix” is to keep your console turned off and it should “fix” itself in about 24 hours. As of right now, it seems like everything is back to normal….this is sorta like Y2K for the PS3

Scientists Invent Hangover Free Booze

So for those of you guys that like to get piss drunk for a low dollar amount, Korea has you covered. They’ve discovered that oxygenating your booze will not only sober you up faster, it’ll prevent a hangover.

Now for the crappy news…. oxygenating your liquor will make it “fizzy”… almost like when you drink water straight out of the tap without letting it settle for a bit.  On to the even crappier news…. oxygenated booze also reduces the amount of time you’re drunk for. DOH! Looking on the bright side of things, that might mean you could drink more? :)
