Borders just signed an agreement with Verizon to provide Wi-Fi service at all 500+ stores nationwide. The FREE service is expected to arrive sometime in the middle of October.
Although they very well know that there will be a great deal of people popping in to the stores only to leech some free internet access, they’re using it as an opportunity to advertise their latest n greatest content, special discounts and the ability to join Borders Rewards.
