This is starting to get ridiculous, it seems like every “new” product coming to the market has a little “HD” squeezed in at the end. Cowon has just added the V5 HD PMP to their line up. The device has a 4.8 inch touchscreen running @ 800X480 resolution. A cool little feature about it is that you could play back HD video @ 720P to your HDTV using the integrated HDMI port.
If you haven’t fallen asleep yet, the PMP will have 8GB and 32GB flavors, as well as Windows CE 6.0, 10 hours of video playback, 45 hours of music playback. Expect the device to be up for grabs in January for around $250…Korea only for now, USA the Europe will have to wait.
